About Me
I am a Chaplain, Spiritual Care Counselor, Spiritual Companion, and Celebrant with extensive experience in accompanying individuals on their life's journey. Originally from Iowa, I now reside in the Bay Area and have had the opportunity to study, travel, and serve in various locations such as the U.S., the Middle East, Europe, and Central America. This has given me a profound appreciation for the unique paths that each person takes in their time on this earth.
I have the privilege of serving individuals from diverse backgrounds, encompassing a wide range of belief systems, both religious and secular. In 2012, I completed my Chaplain Residency at Stanford Hospitals and Clinics, where I continued to serve as an On Call Hospital Chaplain. Prior to this, I dedicated my time as a Presbyterian Church (USA) Mission Co-Worker in Lebanon and Syria. Over the past seven years, I have been fulfilling the role of a Hospice Spiritual Care Counselor in the East Bay.
As an ordained interfaith minister, I am currently pursuing my spiritual direction program at The Chaplaincy Institute in Berkeley, CA. This program will further enhance my ability to guide and support individuals on their spiritual journeys.
